The Young Judges and Paraders competitions are beyond just a ribbon and the accolades that goes with it. Life-long skills of confidence, public speaking, the ability to justify and compare are just some of the skills competitors gain from competing at their local show, group final, state final or even the prestigious ASA National Final.
Hear from a few of our past competitors on how these competitions have provided them skills they use daily in their roles both within and outside of Agriculture.

A poignant article written by Lucy Kinbacher focusses on encouraging young people not to sit back and miss the amazing opportunity Young Judges can provide and to give it a go no matter what your fears.
We have also put together flyers on each competition that your show society can use to promote the importance of the competition to both schools and individuals. Shortly, we will have a Teachers Handbook available to encourage teachers to take students to their local show to participate in the Young Judges & Paraders competitions.
