Agricultural Shows Australia together with the National Emerging Leaders Working Group are proud to announce the third Agricultural Shows Australia National Conference will be held in 2025. The Conference will be held on the Gold Coast, Queensland from Thursday 13 to Sunday 16 February 2025.

Where better than the iconic Gold Coast to bring together the national Agricultural Shows movement to explore the theme ‘Reimagining an Icon’. This is a pinnacle event for the broader Agricultural Shows community and is one not to be missed.
Commencing with a welcome function on Thursday evening, the main Conference program will take place across two full days with a Gala Dinner Saturday evening. A new addition to the conference program is a Sunday Networking Breakfast, which will be the perfect occasion to cement new friendships, connections and learnings before returning home.
Agricultural Shows across Australia are iconic community events, providing invaluable opportunities to promote agriculture. With more than 580 agricultural shows held each year, the combined economic value of these events is in excess of $965 million each year, with the largest volunteer base in the country. ASA and the Emerging Leaders Committee share a vision for a strong and vibrant network of Iconic Agricultural Shows working together to engage, influence and promote the essential value of Australian agriculture.

The ASA Emerging Leaders Committee (ASAEL) is a Committee of the ASA Board, providing centralising coordination of National Next Gen programs and activities. “Emerging Leaders” encompasses the 18- to 40-year-old age group and embodies the sustainability of the agricultural show movement across Australia.
