Over the past few months, ASA has been busy putting together resources that any show can use.
Young Farmer Challenge
Young Farmer Challenge Promotional Content Suite includes social media posts for shows to use, line drawings for a number of challenges which provides a great visual medium, Media releases calling for participants, and sponsors, acknowledging sponsors already onboard and even just general email wording you can use to promote the upcoming Young Farmer Challenge your show is hosting.
Soils Promotional Content Suite has key information including where to start, how judging works, what to look for, and speech suggestions. This key information will get you off to a great start. We have also produced two videos on how to run a soils competition and how to participate in a soils judging competition plus a quick guide document perfect for learning all about the competition.
We have produced resources for Grain & Pulses Young Judges including a handbook, quick guide document and video explaining everything you need to know about running the competition. There is also a promotional content suite available for Grains/Pulses including blogs, media releases, social media posts and general information any show can download and use.
Farm Safety Banners have been produced in conjunction with Primary Industries Education Foundation Australia (PIEFA) to reinforce the importance around farm safety. Shows can download the high-resolution PDF documents for display in an education space or they can be made into roll up banners if you wish.
We look forward to seeing shows running these competitions to encourage show participation, learning through competition and have a bit of fun along the way.
