The Royal Agricultural Society of WA brought a taste of the country to the city, officially launching the 2026 Perth Royal Show at Elizabeth Quay.
Against the backdrop of the Swan River and Perth skyline, goats, miniature Herefords and working kelpies joined stakeholders to give media and passers-by a preview of what is to come.
The Honourable Jackie Jarvis, Minister for Agriculture and Food; Fisheries; Forestry; Small Business; and the Mid-West joined Society President Anne Stroud and CEO Robyn Sermon to officially launch the Show and announce the State Government’s $3.95 million investment in the 2026 event.
The 2026 Perth Royal Show is focused on delivering greater value for families while strengthening the event’s role in connecting the community with Western Australian agriculture.
New agricultural and food experiences announced at the launch included the Made in WA Harvest Collective, showcasing locally grown and produced food and beverages, and an Emerging Exhibitors Program supporting new Western Australian businesses to take part in the Show.
Alongside freezing general admission tickets and providing tens of thousands of early-bird discounted tickets to the community, the State Government’s investment will also support the much-loved Yellow Brick Road, renewed assistance for regional agricultural shows and initiatives designed to improve accessibility and participation.
The 2026 Perth Royal Show combines the traditions generations of Western Australians know and love with new experiences and entertainment and will be held at Claremont Showground from 26 September to 3 October.
