“Reflections 2020”
Callington A & H Show is forging ahead with an exciting digital competition. Like many other country shows, the pandemic has forced us to cancel our show in 2020. However, the show committee is enthusiastic to share details of this our brand–new initiative – an online entry competition. The winner’s book, “Reflections 2020“ will be launched next year at our Show on the last Sunday in October 2021.
This book will contain the work of successful entrants in the competition, which has three sections: literary, colour artwork and black and white photography. Entries may be about Covid19, about the bushfires, about the drought, or any other pertinent focus reflecting the theme.
Callington Show is younger than many shows but has gone from strength to strength since its inception in 2002, becoming well known as a fun, affordable, family day out. Callington, located 70km east of Adelaide on the boundaries of Mount Barker and City of Murray Bridge Councils, has around 400 residents, yet on Show day we attract more than 4000 visitors to our beautiful site!
This is a competition for all ages, and we are so looking forward to showcasing South Australia’s talent. Details of the competition, which opens in January 2021 are on our website www.callingtonshow.com.au
