In recognition of the significant cultural, social and economic contribution annual agricultural shows make to local communities, the Western Australian Government has committed to provide financial support to Agricultural Show societies across Western Australia.
The WA Agriculture Show Grant Program is a non-competitive, allocation-based program with $600,000 in total funding, with up to $10,000 available for each eligible agricultural show society.
The objective of the Grant Program is to provide organisations with financial support to:
- Showcase WA Food and Agriculture
- Meet the operational costs (excluding salary or wage related costs) associated with the conduct of annual agricultural shows that showcase local food and agriculture
- Support a volunteer program
- Support new innovative free activities for patrons
- Invest in new infrastructure or upgrades and maintenance to showground facilities essential to the operation of the annual agricultural show
The eligible funding application period is from 1 November 2025 to 30 June 2026. All applications must be submitted via the form on the Affiliates Portal within this timeframe.
The Grant Program will operate as a rolling application process, with each submission assessed in the order it is received. The Royal Agricultural Society of WA is proud to administer this program on behalf of the Western Australian Government and is available to provide support throughout the process.
Further details, including eligibility criteria, as well as the application and acquittal forms, are available through the Affiliates Portal. If you have any questions, please contact us on affiliates@raswa.org.au
We encourage all eligible Western Australian Agricultural Show Societies to apply and continue supporting the important role agricultural shows play in strengthening local communities!
