The 133rd Wynyard Show held on 18th March 2023 turned out to be one of the best. The show was very well supported by the wider community with gate takings well up on previous years. The weather was perfect.
Our changeover to online ticketing, vendor space and livestock entries worked very well.
Popular new events included a straw bale maze, the University of Tasmania bus and all it offered, plus a scooter and helmet as a gate prize.
The lucky winner was a delightful new community member, her parents have only just recently become Australian citizens: they were just as excited as their daughter.
As pictured, the flower section of the Industrial Hall was a great success.
Well done to all exhibitors with the quality of their displays particularly as ours is an autumn show.
