The 107th Exeter Show is shaping up to be another spectacular family day out in the Tamar Valley. With loads of free children’s activities from the animal nursery to Roy Maloy, circus fire eating stilt walker, to laser tagging and Boris the stunt bike rider plus this year we will have Ricky Possum, who will be performing a show called Grandad’s farm for the smaller ones.  Music will be provided by Jerome Hillier and the Irish family group, Fiddlestix.

The Exeter Show continues to be a wonderful agricultural show with show jumping and equestrian events, sheep shearing , dog jumping, pet parade, sheaf tossing and of course the grand parade with vintage cars and trucks, fire engines, tractors and animals. A favourite for many is the wood chopping events and side show alley. Indeed something for every age to enjoy and take part in.

The Home Industries in the show hall have expanded to include some new categories including homemade wine, beer and cider plus home grown vegetables, fruit , cooking, preserves and Arts and crafts and much more.

Food is always a big deal for patrons who are able to choose from a variety of food and coffee vans plus the show kiosk, BBQ and Apple Crate Café for those who wish to relax in a quieter environment.

As always we are so grateful to our local businesses and clubs for their continued support and to the volunteers who quadruple on the day.
