Why Cape Town
Cape Town consistently ranks among the world’s top cities, celebrated for its vibrant culture, iconic landmarks, and dynamic events scene. From Table Mountain, voted Africa’s leading attraction, to the Zeitz MOCAA Museum and award-winning festivals, the city blends natural beauty with cultural innovation. Recognized by the Telegraph, Time Out, and Condé Nast, Cape Town offers a world-class destination for visitors seeking both inspiration and adventure.
Beyond its urban charm, Cape Town sits at the heart of the Western Cape, one of South Africa’s most productive and competitive agricultural regions. The province excels in wine, deciduous fruit, marine aquaculture and agri-processing, with over 85% of South Africa’s wine produced here. Supported by a skilled workforce, innovative farming practices, and proximity to major export routes via the Port of Cape Town, the region plays a critical role in driving economic growth and sustaining jobs for over 200,000 people.
For delegates, this means the conference is set in a region where agriculture is not just an industry, but a story of resilience, innovation, and global relevance. From vineyards to essential oils, from fruit exports to cutting-edge agri-processing, Cape Town offers a compelling backdrop to explore the opportunities of change in a connected world. The city and province together create an ideal mix of business, culture, and exploration – the perfect stage for RASC 2026.
